Hendrik Johannes Nicasius de Vries (Dutch: [nɪk də ˈvriːs]; born 6 February 1995), commonly known as Nyck de Vries, is a Dutch racing driver, currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Toyota Gazoo Racing and in Formula E for Mahindra Racing, where he is the 2020–21 World Champion. De Vries competed in Formula One from 2022 to 2023. After a successful karting career—culminating in back-to-back victories at the direct-drive Karting World Championship in 2010 and 2011—de Vries graduated to junior formulae.
