Myung-whun Chung (born 22 January 1953) is a South Korean conductor and pianist. Career. Performer. Chung studied piano with Maria Curcio and won joint second-prize in the 1974 International Tchaikovsky Competition. He performed in the Chung Trio with his sisters, violinist Kyung-wha Chung and cellist Myung-wha Chung. Conducting and musical direction.
