A Mii ( MEE) is a customizable avatar used by Nintendo on their video game consoles and mobile apps, first being introduced with the Wii console in 2006. Since their introduction, Miis have also appeared on the Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, the Wii U, the Nintendo Switch, and various apps for smart devices such as the now-defunct Miitomo.
