Manni is a town in the Manni Department of Gnagna Province in eastern Burkina Faso. It is the capital of Manni Department and has a population of 15,066. Geography. Location and environment. Manni is located 35 km north of Bogandé, the provincial capital, and 30 km south of Taparko. It is on the edge of a tributary of the Faga River, on which the Manni embankment dam was built. Demography. In 2003, the village had an estimated 7,276 inhabitants. In 2006, the village had a population of 7,441 inhabitants. History. In October 2024, there was a massacre of around 150 people.
