Magnus Olofsson (born December 8, 1965), is a Swedish engineer and managing director at Elforsk AB. He was previously Director General and Head of the Electrical Safety Authority. Since March 2013, he has also been the President of Värmeforsk. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm in 1996, where he also received his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In March 2013, he was elected member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
