Guy Raz (; born November 9, 1975) is an American journalist and podcaster. He formerly hosted NPR's Weekend All Things Considered and the TED Radio Hour. . Early life and education. Raz was born in West Covina, California. He graduated from Brandeis University in 1996 and received his master's degree in history from Cambridge University. In 2008, Raz spent a year as a Nieman journalism fellow at Harvard University where he studied classical history. Career.
