Paul Gustave Louis Christophe Doré (UK: DOR-ay, US: dor-AY, French: [ɡystav dɔʁe]; 6 January 1832 – 23 January 1883) was a French printmaker, illustrator, painter, comics artist, caricaturist, and sculptor.
