Gal Gadot (Hebrew: גל גדות, pronounced [ˈɡal ɡaˈdot]; born 30 April 1985) is an Israeli actress, best known for portraying Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe films (2016–2023). She first gained attention in Israel after winning the Miss Israel pageant in 2004. After completing her two-year service in the Israeli Defense Forces, Gadot began her acting career with a role in the Israeli television series Bubot in 2007.
