Emily Henry (born May 17, 1991) is an American author who is best known for her New York Times bestselling romance novels Beach Read, People We Meet on Vacation, Book Lovers, Happy Place, Funny Story, and Great Big Beautiful Life. Biography. She was born on May 17, 1991. Henry attended Lakota East High School in West Chester, Ohio, then Hope College on a creative writing scholarship with plans to study dance.
