Charles Russell (born May 9, 1958) is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer, best known for his genre films. He is best known for directing the films A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987), The Blob (1988), The Mask (1994), Eraser (1996), and The Scorpion King (2002). Career. Russell entered the film industry as a production manager and assistant director on independent films, while writing screenplays.
