Christopher Karl Mellon (born 1957 or 1958) is an American former Department of Defense and United States Senate civilian staff member whose career from 1985 to 2017 focused on defense and intelligence oversight. He is an advocate for transparency in government investigations of UFOs. Mellon began his career by working for the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee, later serving as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence for the Clinton and Bush administrations.
