Benson James Boone (born June 25, 2002) is an American singer. Born and raised in Monroe, Washington, his career began when he started sharing his music on the social media platform TikTok. He was subsequently invited to join the American Idol competition, where he competed briefly before withdrawing. He continued to gain popularity on TikTok, and subsequently signed to Night Street Records, the label of Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds. Boone's debut single, "Ghost Town", was released in October 2021, charting in 16 countries.
