Major General Bengt Allan Svensson (born 24 February 1958) is a retired Swedish Army officer. Svensson served as Assistant Chief of Armed Forces Training & Procurement from 2012 to 2014. Career. Svensson was born on 24 February 1958 in Karlskrona, Sweden. He graduated from the Military Academy Karlberg in 1982 and was commissioned as an officer and assigned to the Scanian Anti-Aircraft Regiment in Ystad with the rank of fänrik. He was promoted to captain in 1983 and attended the Artillery and Engineering College in Stockholm from 1984 to 1985.
