Anel Ahmedhodžić (Bosnian pronunciation: [ǎnel ǎxmedxodʒitɕ]; born 26 March 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for EFL Championship club Sheffield United. Born in Sweden to Bosnian parents, Ahmedhodžić represented Sweden at youth international level and played one game for the senior team, before switching to play for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ahmedhodžić started his professional career at Nottingham Forest, before joining Malmö FF in 2019. In his first season at Malmo, he was loaned to Danish Superliga team Hobro IK.
