Robert Leigh initially trained as a Dental Nurse, which was his first steps into the world of dentistry. He then joined the Eastman Dental Hospital at UCLH and completed his training to become a Dental Hygienist. Robert took on many leadership roles throughout his training and is currently studying for a BSc in Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care. He also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Periodontics and is currently working in Community Healthcare NHS Trust as an Oral Health Promoter. In this episode, Robert discusses all the different paths he has come across since qualifying and shares advice for those embarking their dental career journey.
