Neo Mint Thins ft. Zack Grooves
Neo Mint Thins ft. Zack Grooves
ZACK and his confession of a secret LOVE!
We have been away for a week or two but we are certainly BACK !
This week has a little minty twist as we managed to catch up with Zack one of his two UK Clinics in March 2025.
Paul from Dixon Drums and the lovely Andy Anderson from Drumshop UK in Washington Tyne&Wear (Newcastle to us southerners) put on an amazing evening in store on Tuesday night and Andy and I had to make the trip up North or further up North for Andy!
The 12 minute video of our Interview with Zack will be available on YouTube
Here on our usual Podcast stream, we have incorporated a recap of the event and other random Drum “ish”related chat with brief interview with Mr Grooves.
I am sure you have the links already but check out Zack Grooves on YouTube and Instagram along with his band “Everything Yes”
Massive thanks to Zack, Andy Anderson, Paul Luc-Gifford and Dixon Drums for arranging this for us UK fans.

The Drum Shed Podcast
Drum Chat from an amateur’s perspective about gear gigs, education, drumming influences, drum shows, and the drumming community in 2024.
We also interview "Drummy People" from all over. This includes, Educators, Players of all areas of drumming from beginners to professional artists. We will also speak to industry people, drum builders and shop owners.
Hosted by Matt F & Andy M.
Matt (London) started playing in the 80's and was in a couple of bands that played many gigs in London and the UK as well as recorded in a few studios but never really "made it" Now he is totally obsessed with Drums, music and music gear and the industry. Loyal to the Meinl Brand and a member of the Mike Johnston "Mikes Lessons" Drum Education website and "Family"
Andy (Hull) started playing at the age of 49 and is loving the world of drumming and this amazing community. He is a great example who combats the common feeling that "It's too late to start playing at my age" that we often hear. He is also a member of the Mike Johnston "Mikes Lessons" Drum Education website and "Family"
We both attend the UK Drum Show and other events we can get to around the UK
Some episodes will just be us nattering on about drum stuff, and some will involve guest hosts or guest interviewees.
