Straight From The Off welcomes Ged Hennigan to the Podcast. Ged was a cultered midfielder who loved to get the ball down and play. Ged has played for teams that include Bury, Droylsden, Burscough, St Helens & Barrow amongst others after being a youth team player for both Liverpool and Everton and playing mainly for the Canada of a Sunday while his contract was ‘In the drawer’. He tells a great story about waking up in a strangers house in Aberyswyth, Wales after a mad night out. He tells us about trips abroad with the great Pacific team of the late 80’s early 90’s. He talks about his favourite goals, games and all about the lads he shared a pitch with and played against throughout those times.
