
42: Baba Anujka
For today’s case we are going to Eastern Europe and back to the 19th century with the story of Ana Drakšin, more commonly known as Baba Anujka, one of the most prolific poisoners of late 19th-early 20th century Europe.
Baba Anujka spent her life studying chemistry and herbalism and spent her twilight years helping women dispatch their abusive husbands with her special "magic water" laced with poison. This week we go through the whole, fascinating story.
