Episode 16. Tactical holidays, strategic voting and a local (radio) hero!

Our holiday special edition is here without delay, or diversion, and only one natural disaster to interfere with our perfectly laid plans. We pre-recorded the bulk of this episode so we could simply get it stitched together with some small additions post-holiday and all went to plan bar the content from Rory's break in Crete. Tim provides some enjoyable commentary on his break with wife Ella to the Belgian North Sea coast and entices the rest of us to visit with tales of culture, food and innovative transportation. Rory's Sea of Crete would have raised the temperature a few degrees, but now we'll never know ... until next year maybe.

We'd additionally saved up a special politics chat for this holiday special, which covers recent electoral events and the impact on upcoming tests for Governments and Oppositions alike.

We also introduce a short interview Tim had with Ian Mac, or Macca, the Station Manager at Vectis Radio, the multi-award winning community radio station here on the Isle of Wight. Straight after we were back from our respective holidays, Macca had us both in for a lunchtime chat, live on Vectis Radio.
