Jared is now shunned by his former friends and family, who were more concerned about him coming out and living authentically than they were about his suicide attempt.

My name is Riley and I'm a former Jehovah's Witness.
In 2020, I woke up to the fact that the Jehovah's Witnesses are not "the one true religion" as I was raised to believe. In fact, the religion is a high-control group, which causes a lot of harm to current and former members.
In this podcast, I share my experiences being raised as a Jehovah's Witness, discuss JW doctrine, and interview former members.
