I'm 40% Podcast! With Jinkx Monsoon and Nick Sahoyah
Jinkx Monsoon & Nick Sahoyah and Studio71Here comes a podcast for “THE WORLD OF TOMORROW!” (but really, it’s like 20 years ago…)
Jinkx Monsoon and her long-time comedy partner Nick Sahoyah will take you episode by episode through one of the best-written adult animation shows of our generation: Futurama.
With incredible celebrity guests, (many of whom have never seen Futurama before) Jinkx and Nick will give you the in-depth and out-of-this-world analysis you never knew you needed.
Starting at its humble beginnings as a fledgling cartoon on Fox, all the way through its three made-for-TV movies, and concluding with its resurrection and final seasons on Comedy Central— we will watch and dissect every. single. episode.
Jinkx Monsoon is the internationally tolerated drag superstar you have come to know and love for her dry wit and unique brand of self-loathing. She is joined by Nick Sahoyah who has been her comedy partner long before her Season 5 win of RuPaul’s Drag Race. You can see these two in their long-running web series: “Cool Mom”, as well as the darkly comedic horror short: “Love Follows” on YouTube.
As best friends for over twelve years, their continued love of cartoons is as impressive as it is sad. Together, they have watched countless animated series to completion, much to the chagrin of their roommates and romantic partners throughout the years. Of all their favorites, Futurama is by far their most quoted series, as both Jinkx and Nick have a near-encyclopedic knowledge of this oft-overlooked surrealist comedy.
If you are a fan of drag, stoner humor, or friends with an oddly mother-and-son-like relationship, then this is the podcast for you!
Special guests include hilarious comedians such as Nicole Byer, Margaret Cho, Guy Branum, Monét Exchange, Bob the Drag Queen, and many more!
Join us for the first time or the millionth, as we watch each and every episode of the cult classic: Futurama. Tune into this brand new podcast each week to hear Jinkx and Nick’s profound and meticulous dissection of the show they love…possibly too much.
