In this Series, we are going to dive deep in the scandal that led to what could have been an all time great team to national infamy as they would forever be known as the Chicago Black Sox.
We’re also going to look at the attempt to cover up the scandal by baseball’s highest official and the amazing story of what it took to expose the crimes.
In this first episode, we’re going to examine how the conspiracy among a group of bitter and underpaid White Sox players to throw the World Series came together and set the stage for maybe the most controversial set of 8 games in the history of the sport.
And of course we will touch on Shoeless Joe Jackson and the role he did or did not play in the conspiracy.
