Part 5 ~ Malaikah Jibril عليه السلام took Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام to Jamrat Al-`Aqabah and the Shaytan appeared to him
Narrated by Abu Hurairah: from Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2646, Book 41, Hadith 2 : The Virtue Of Seeking Knowledge[that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him."]As a rule of thumb, any hadith which contradicts the Qur’an should be considered null and void. Only the Qur'an is the absolute authentic text which has remained intact throughout. Al Qur’an is the word of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى and Hadiths are just for our reference.May we receive mercy from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala and also receive guidance to gather sufficient supplies so that we are safe and comfortable in Mahsyar facing Allah SWT being entered into heaven by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala without reckoning and also punishment. Surah mentioned :- Surah As~Saffat 37, verse 99 - 100 : [ He later said, “I am leaving (in obedience) to my Lord. He will guide me. My Lord, grant me (a child) from among the righteous." ]- Surah As~Saffat 37, verse 101 : [ So We gave him good news of a forbearing son. ]- Surah As~Saffat 37, verse 102 : [ Then when the boy reached the age to work with him, Ibrahim said, “O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I (must) sacrifice you. So tell me what you think.” He replied, “O my dear father! Do as you are commanded. Allah willing, you will find me steadfast.” ]- Surah As~Saffat 37, verse 103 - 104 : [ Then when they submitted (to Allah’s Will), and Ibrahim laid him on the side of his forehead (for sacrifice), We called out to him, “O Abraham! You have already fulfilled the vision.” ]- Surah As~Saffat 37, verse 104 - 105 : [ We called out to him, “O Ibrahim! You have already fulfilled the vision.” Indeed, this is how We reward the good-doers. ]- Surah As~Saffat 37, verse 106 - 107 : [ That was truly a revealing test. And We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice, and blessed Ibrahim (with honourable mention) among later generations: ]- Surah As~Saffat 37, verse 112 : [ We (later) gave him good news of Ishaq—a prophet, and one of the righteous. ]- Surah Hud 11, verse 71 : [ And his wife was standing by, so she laughed, then We gave her the glad tidings of Ishaq and, after Ishaq, of Ya‘qoob. ]- Surah Al-Baqarah 2, verse 133 : [ Or did you witness when death came to Ya’qoob? He asked his children, “Who will you worship after my passing?” They replied, “We will (continue to) worship your God, the God of your forefathers—Ibrahim, Ismail, and Ishaq—the One God. And to Him we (all) submit.” ]
Hanny's StoryTime - Islamic Stories from the Qur'an
I read my findings/stories after doing research about the events, histories and stories from the Qur'an. And I also gather some hadiths that go along with it (either Sahih, Hassan or Da'if but mainly from Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim). Initially, I started this in my YouTube channel to help my daughter to understand what Islam is all about. But then I realized that there're so much that I, myself were not even aware of. In our daily hectic life, I pray that this 'Podcast' can help us all to remember why we are here in the first place. “Laa ilaha ilallah, Muhammadan ‘Abduhu wa Rasuluh”
