My name is Aquia and GiGi's Gentle Storytime started as an idea to read books virtually to my Godchild, Gio. With my passion for all things reading, story, and early childhood literacy, I wanted to open up this space for others to enjoy.

This platform will mainly share stories featuring Black characters as a way for Black children to see themselves represented fully and embodied through imagination.
