Russell Brand Guilty Of Rape

2026-11-05

Today, comedian and actor Russell Brand has been found guilty of rape and three sexual offences and remanded in custody ahead of his sentencing next week.

Adam is joined by Anoushka Mutanda-Dougherty, presenter of Fame Under Fire, who has attended every day of 51-year-old Brand’s trial. They discuss the counts the jury found Brand guilty on, how the trial unfolded and further rape allegations made by two women which can now be reported.

Also, following a successful result for the democrats in the US midterm elections, how could Trump’s electoral defeat play out in the rest of the world? Adam is joined by our International Editor, Jeremy Bowen, to assess what it might mean for US involvement in the Middle East, the war between Russia and Ukraine, and Trump’s plans for Cuba.
