***Trigger Warning*** This episode contains discussion about suicide and Baby Loss.

Baby Loss is something that affects so many in the Black Community but so rarely spoken about. In this episode Donald shares his own story of Baby loss and shares the podcast with fellow Dope Black Mums Cerise and Katie. They share what they didn't know about Baby loss, the support (and lack of support) they had from family and friends, how they remember their children that have passed and how this loss has influenced the parents they are today.

If you would like to hear more about Baby loss from a Dad's perspective, check out Dope Black Mum's most recent episode.

If you have been affected by Baby loss or know someone who has, you can get in touch with Sands Baby Loss charity, who are partnering with Dope Black Dads and Dope Black Mums.

The Marvyn Harrison Podcast

A cinematic, story-led conversation exploring the moments that shape who we become. Each episode begins with images, early memories, pivotal turning points, and present day realities prompting guests to unpack the experiences that defined them. From there, the conversation moves deeper: identity, family, ambition, failure, culture, relationships, justice, and the pressures of modern life.

Through structured storytelling and unexpected game segments, guests reveal both the serious and the surprising sides of themselves. The tone is honest, intelligent, and human, reflective without being heavy, playful without being shallow. This is not an interview. It is a space for discovery. Real stories. Clear thinking. Unfiltered insight.
