Gong Hei Fat Choy, everyone! It's Chinese New Year, Year of the Snake! I go full-on superstition mode—because obviously, the fate of your entire year depends on whether you wash your hair on the first day (spoiler: DON’T).
In this last episode of this first series, Jason and I break down all the CNY dos and don’ts that sound completely mental to non-Chinese folk. No taking out the bins (unless you fancy throwing your fortune away), No sweeping the floor (unless you enjoy financial ruin). Oh, and if your Chinese aunties tell you to wear red pants for luck—just do as you are told.
