Hello everyone, our guest on today's podcasts is Sr. Riyana Daud.
I spoke to Rihanna, who studied nursing and is now also studying engineering.
As a successful young immigrant in her studies, I think it would be more helpful to invite her over and hear her story, which could motivate other young men and girls.

The newly arrived immigrant children and everyone who is now facing the same situation as newcomers in Sweden will learn a lot from Riyana's story how she struggled so hard as a little girl to overcome the challenges of time, culture and language and other barriers when she came to Sweden, during her first year.

I was honoured to interview such an extraordinary young woman, whose story could have inspired so many young girls, boys, and others who had the opportunity to hear her story.
She told me her story as an immigrant who came to Sweden during her teenager and started school from 8th grade without speaking the Swedish language.
What amazed me during our conversation, however, was that in the end she not only mastered it, but also completed her studies with excellent results in the Swedish language and is now a nurse and is studying another profession at the same time.
It's impressive story and she is determined, dedicated, to achieve what she has dreamed of, and very passionate about learning new things.
She also told me that she has the ambition and desire to write a book in Afan Oromo, Swedish, and English that will eventually help the Oromo children and others who want to learn Afaan Oromo and be multilingual in the future.

I had a very fruitful conversation with Riyaana AND warmly invite you to listen to our podcast and support us if you want to hear more inspiring stories from so many people too.

Egeree Oromiyaa- EOs Podcast

Egeree Oromiyaa - EOs Podcast is a platform where we explore culture, identity, politics, literature, and the shared experiences of yesterday and today. We delve into the challenges faced by first-generation refugees, particularly Oromo youth in Sweden and other Western nations. Many untold stories emerge, offering support to both those who share and those who listen.

Our podcast amplifies the voices of those who have experienced the trauma of leaving home and coming to Europe in various ways. We invite role models, professionals, and experienced individuals to share their journeys from their homelands to their current lives in third countries. Through their stories, we aim to inspire and provide insight into adapting to life in a new country, offering hope to those newly arrived.

In addition to personal stories, we produce documentaries on historical events and current affairs in Ethiopia, with a special focus on Oromia. Our platform is a free space where individual opinions are welcomed while maintaining neutrality and respectful discussions. Freedom of expression is valued, but disrespectful language is never allowed. These values guide our conversations.
