For over 200 years, Camden has forged a home for communities in London. As one of London’s most diverse and celebrated ‘villages’, it has welcomed individuals, new arrivals, the transient and the permanent, in a mosaic of individuals and communities.
In this eight-part podcast series, host Shlomo Levin talks to people who embody the spirit of the Borough to find out what it takes to build and maintain strong and happy communities. Having himself combined a career in the City with building a thriving community around South Hampstead Synagogue as its Rabbi, Shlomo explores how his guests give their beneficiaries a sense of belonging, value and recognition. More than anything, they celebrate the need for communities made up of fulfilled and valued individuals and the joy that being part of one can bring to enrichen lives.
