A Dumb Team Swept By The 2025 (2003?) Miami Marlins
Welcome to Bleav in The Bronx, your home for all things of the 27-time World Series Champion New York Yankees!
Harvey Cruz breaks down the Yankees getting swept by the Miami Marlins.
Are the Yankees a dumb baseball team? Blown leads on Friday, base running errors lead to a 2-hit shutout loss on Saturday and Luis Gil made his season debut on Sunday.
Derek Jeter and Alex Rodiriguez called out the organization. Aaron Boone refused to bench Jazz Chisholm and publicly chewed out first base coach Travis Chapman. Luis Rojas sent Trent Grisham home on a throw that beat him by 20 feet.
The Marlins swept the Yankees led by rookies, to achieve a franchise first.
Now, the Yankees head to Texas to play a Rangers team who are still in Wild Card contention. Aaron Judge is expected back, but Max Fried will need a big bounce back pitching performance.
