In the heart of Cumbria in the north west of England is a glacial lake which holds a dark secret. In the mid-19th century a woman was held beneath the water’s surface by her lover until she was dead. Today she is seen walking from the lake, to the sheer horror of anyone who sees her. With alleged alien encounters and a legend of a ruined village beneath the centre of the lake, is there more to this fairly innocuous lake in the middle of the countryside than meets the eye?
